while kpop is mainly known to have a lot of bad corny lyrics (and yes, ateez might be guilty of this a couple times), tons of ateez music has beautifully crafted lyrics on a variety of topics. though they have consitantly brought forward commentary about corrupt governments/other political commentary, incorprated storylines, and had overal beautiful lyricism. some standout songs showcasing this are guerilla, wake up, colors (collab with 3racha and minhyuk), and halazia. also shoutout to mist for some nicely written lyrics that aren't politcal.
"i can't feel what it's like to be alive, even now, in this momеnt, color this infinitely cold world"
